For Cheetah Mobile, reaching the next 5 billion is an attainable goal. Of course, what we have reached so far is just the beginning. While Cheetah Mobile is going global, we aim to replicate the success of the “free to use” model that’s currently in China to the rest of the world. Our reputation is as important as our customer satisfaction and product quality. 5 billion is just a number, while what in front of us is unimaginable.
2) What are the short term goals for Cheetah mobile to grow in the US market?
Our customer base is steadily growing in the United States. To further accelerate market growth and monetization, we focus not only on customer needs but also continue to optimize user experience and improve on overall product quality .
3) What are some of the trends you see in the mobile industry globally?
First of all, mobile internet is making the world easier to connect to and more accessible. Globalization gives great opportunities to companies and individuals to create the perfect arena for fair competition. Any product has the chance to acquire users globally, so we are seeing increasingly more companies on the web that are competing for customers. Secondly, we are seeing the rapid rise of Chinese companies in the mobile internet field. The uniqueness of the large Chinese market, the diverse purchase experience, as well as the tried and tested business model gives Chinese companies better chances to compete in the U.S. market.
