Robert Scoble is a technical evangelist who has been building online communities since 1985. He is a well renowned technology blogger best known for his blog, Scobleizer who has made him a celebrity among his followers. He is the writer of Age of Context: Mobile, Sensors, Data and the Future of Privacy, and Startup Liaison Officer at Rackspace. His work over the years has helped shed light on breakthrough technology and world-changing startups all over the world.
Considered one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in Russia, Dmitry Grishin is best known as the Chairman, CEO and Co-found of the Mail.ru Group alongside Yuri Milner. Mail.ru services are now used regularly by 90% of Russian Internet users and has a $5 billion market cap. Dmitry is also the Founder of the first-ever robotics investment company, Grishin Robotics, which focuses exclusively on consumer robotics. To date, Grishin Robotics has invested in eight companies, including: NanoSatisfi, which offers affordable access to satellites, and Petnet, which helps owners monitor their pet’s health. Most recently, Dmitry launched Mail.ru’s U.S. subsidiary, My.com. Since launching, My.com has released a suite of mobile messaging, e-mail and gaming applications for iOS and Android devices and has announced upcoming MMORPG PC games.
Dmitry is also the head of the department of Information Technologies and Programming at St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics, and Optics. In 2013, MIT Technology Review named him Innovator Under 35 recognition for his great work and innovations in the field of robotics.
