Sanjay Poonen, President, Platform Solutions & Mobile, SAP: “We were excited about the opportunity here, and China is going to be at the forefront driving a lot of that [mobile] revolution.”

Connie Chan, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz: “I felt it’s great. There is mix of people from all over Asia and all over the western world, too. I’ve met a lot of great people. It’s been a great networking event.”

Peter Vesterbacka, ‘Mighty Eagle’ of Rovio: “It’s great, it’s lots of people, lots of old friends, so it’s always good to reconnect. And, I bumped into quite a few Angry Birds fans downstairs at the exhibition areas. So that’s what we want as well.”

Phil Larsen, CMO of Halfbrick Studios (Fruit Ninja): “Having a great night in Beijing, everyone’s here. I think my favorite part was a panel about developing for different markets, worldwide markets, everyone in the panel was from different countries, spoke different languages, and it all worked really really well.”

Benjamin Joffe, CEO of Plus Eight Star: “The conference is awesome, a couple years ago we met the founder of Skype at this VERY conference, we raised money with them, and last year we announce the funding. This year we are just happy to see how we can grow internationally.”

Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote: “It’s pretty awesome, you know, every time I’m at the GMIC event, I’m really impressed with it, and I’m super impressed with the plan to make GMIC global and to come to our backyard in San Francisco.”

Richard Robinson, Co-Founder of Yolu: “I’ve been at every GIMC from the beginning. Year one, 350 attending here, Year two, 1,200, Year Three 3,500, Year four 5,000, initiates 10,000.here is interesting statistic, by 2018, 43% of the entire population of China will be attending GMIC. It’s absolutely incredible.”
