TechinAsia, a technology news startup focused on the exciting Asian startup scene, has just released word that they have completed their second round of funding. Led by Simile Venture Partners and with the participation from East Ventures, the investment will be used to grow their business and continue contributing to the Asian technology community, according to TechinAsia founder Willis Wee.
Since its founding, TechinAsia has consistently provided quality startup and technology news about the exciting tech markets of Asia. Now numbering 11 team members, the company has grown considerably over the past few years. Still, they are humble about their progress, and as Willis maintains, “we understand that there is always room for improvement.”
For its part, Simile Venture Partners GM Tatiana Kim had the following to say:
“Southeast Asia is one of the world’s most exciting regions today, fast evolving for tech startups. Access to trusted tech news and information and quality industry events are very important for the ecosystem’s development. TechinAsia has an outstanding team and is already playing a major role in this space. We are excited to partner with them to assist in its continued success and to build a highly impactful company.”
Congratulations to Willis and the TechinAsia team!
